We are seeking a skilled Lift Installation Specialist to join our team at Schindler Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and setting out lift and escalator installations in accordance with approved procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install lift and escalator well and ancillary equipment in accordance with approved procedures.
- Install traction equipment, including siting, assembly, fitting, alignment, and adjustment of lift and escalator equipment.
- Install lift ropes and adjust in accordance with approved procedures.
- Install lift doors and frames, including manual and power-operated solid sliding doors, multi-leaf doors, hinged doors, collapsible gates, shutter gates, and bi-parting doors and shutters.
- Check and set the lift and escalator installation in accordance with approved procedures.
- Carry out site surveys and maintain communication with the customer and supervisor to ensure satisfaction of customer needs.
- Attend relevant training sessions and adhere to the Company's Quality Corporate policy and Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified to NVQ level 3 minimum in Lift/Escalator Installation or equivalent.
- Possession of a relevant/valid Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card.
- More advanced product and installation knowledge/experience.
- Proven fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Ability to work independently with a flexible approach.
- Good communication skills at different levels.
- Good punctuality.
- Manual dexterity.
- Full UK driving license.
