Logistics Coordinator

The client is a leading importer in the FMCG industry based in Northolt, with a strong presence in the UK market.
Job DescriptionThe key responsibilities of this role include:
Transportation and LogisticsOrganising all transport out of the company, including customer orders and transfers to/from other warehouses, by liaising closely with the sales admin team and dealing with any queries relating to UK transport.
Ensuring that we get the most competitive and reliable solutions for UK transport, and booking all deliveries into the warehouse and 3rd party warehouses.
Keeping the Order chasing spreadsheet and warehouse calendars always up to date, and checking and processing all UK transport and storage invoices in a timely manner.
Inventory ManagementChecking and processing all goods invoices in a timely manner, and raising any queries to the purchasing team.
Ensuring that inventory levels are accurate and up to date, and that stock is properly managed and controlled.
RequirementsThe successful candidate will have:
- Knowledge of stock and logistics, and experience working in a similar environment.
- Ideal knowledge of FMCG, and the ability to work in the office full time.
