Clinical Specialist Nurse

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Specialist Nurse to join our Children and Young People's Community Nursing team at Barking Havering and Redbridge Univ Hospitals NHS Trust.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced clinical specialist skills to deliver high-quality, individualized patient-centered care to children and young people.
- Oversee the assessment of care needs, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care programs without direct supervision.
- Act as a role model and provide leadership in the clinical area, supervising and coordinating the work of others.
- Develop and implement education and training programs for staff, in collaboration with the Children's Clinical Nurse Educator.
- Take charge of shifts and supervise and coordinate other staff as appropriate, promoting professional development and growth.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality care to children and young people. As a Clinical Specialist Nurse, you will be responsible for providing advanced clinical specialist skills and leadership in the clinical area. You will work closely with the Children's Clinical Nurse Educator to develop and implement education and training programs for staff.
Requirements:
- Advanced clinical specialist skills and experience in paediatric care.
- Leadership and management experience, with the ability to supervise and coordinate the work of others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, patients, and families.
- Ability to develop and implement education and training programs for staff.
- Knowledge of current clinical guidelines and best practices in paediatric care.
