Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Policy and Decants Voids Manager to join our team at Novax Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing a team of officers, processing long-term voids, policy voids, and fire-damaged properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 6 officers and provide guidance on void management processes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce void periods and improve property condition.
  • Collaborate with contractors, in-house labor, consultants, and suppliers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Manage budgets and finances to ensure cost control and efficiency.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 months of experience in a similar role or context, preferably in a public sector organization.
  • Experience with scheduling major works, tendering for public procurement, and progressing projects to completion.
  • Knowledge of legislation and regulations applicable to building, repairs, and refurbishment of houses and flats in social housing, CDM, and construction-specific H&S legislation.
