Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the management of long-term voids, policy voids, and fire-damaged properties. This will involve line management of specified team members within the Voids Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely provision of design, procurement, and contract management for allocated properties.
  • Comply with council processes and procedures, as well as statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide advice and guidance on best practices in service implementation.
  • Liaise with colleagues and other departments to ensure effective procurement, design, and delivery of works.
  • Set targets and monitor staff performance, taking corrective action as necessary.

Essential Requirements:

  • Education to degree level or equivalent.
  • Experience in developing and providing high-quality activities for children and young people.
  • Significant project management experience in local government or the voluntary sector.
