Policy and Void Management Specialist

We are partnering with a Local Authority in a collaborative effort to appoint a Policy and Decant Voids Manager on a 5-month contract, with a high likelihood of extension at the client's discretion. Please submit your CV for immediate consideration.

Compensation: Hourly Rate

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable to the Voids Manager for the timely provision of design procurement and contract management of all properties allocated
  • Ensure compliance with Council processes and procedures and guarantee full adherence to standing orders, statutory, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance, ensuring the dissemination of best practices in all aspects of the service and implementation.
  • Liaise with colleagues from Housing and Council departments to ensure effective procurement, design, and delivery of the works
  • To set appropriate and challenging targets and comprehensively monitor the performance of staff under your management within the Voids Team, taking corrective action as necessary.
