Financial Operations Manager

A dynamic Accounts Assistant is required by Central Staffing Solutions Ltd to join their team in Skegness. As an experienced professional, you will work closely with the Finance Director to deliver high-quality accounting processes.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will carry out daily payment functions and ensure the company's bank accounts and payments match up through thorough bank reconciliations. You will reconcile bank statements and petty cash against invoices and process staff salaries on a monthly basis with the HR Director. Additionally, you will maintain internal systems of control, produce financial reports, and submit VAT returns quarterly. Your tasks will include checking and processing payment requests, monitoring purchase ledgers, managing financial obligations, taking client payments, and submitting digital VAT information.
Requirements:
This role requires proven 2-years experience in Accounts or Finance, preferably with Xero/QuickBooks or Sage accounting experience. VAT preparation experience is also desirable. You should be proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for prioritizing tasks and meeting targets.
Salary and Benefits:
This full-time position offers a competitive salary of up to £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, and various benefits.
