**Job Description:**

We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Specialist to join our team in Skegness. As a key member of our office team, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of our business, including maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Maintain office and client ledgers, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial information.
  • Prepare and submit financial reports, including daily, weekly, and monthly statements, as required by senior management.
  • Reconcile bank statements and petty cash, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded and accounted for.
  • Process staff salaries and mileage payments, working closely with the HR Director and external accountants.
  • Manage financial obligations to suppliers and other third parties, ensuring timely payment and compliance with contractual agreements.

**Requirements:**

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as an account clerk, with a strong understanding of accounting procedures and software.
  • Proficient in using accounting software, such as [insert software name], and have experience with annual audit and inspection processes.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good understanding of accountancy rules and regulations, money laundering regulations, and data protection.
