About the Role

This is a senior leadership position within our Sales function, responsible for driving business growth and revenue through effective sales strategy and team management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and facilitate growth.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team to consistently meet targets and KPIs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners, understanding their needs and preferences to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Stay updated on product features, benefits, and competitive advantage, ensuring the sales team can convey these effectively.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
  • Measure and analyze ROI on all marketing and partnerships activity to produce reports and support data-driven decisions.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of individual high performance within a sales function, and in the management of a high-performing team.
  • Knowledge of organisational effectiveness and operations management.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Excellent IT Skills (MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organised.
  • Experience of working within the apprenticeship training sector with the ability to overcome problems with fast and effective solutions.
  • Having an analytical mindset, with the ability to analyse and identify patterns in information, trends, and emerging issues.
  • Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and the ability to investigate and evaluate information and reach good conclusions.
