Service Desk Support Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Service Desk Analyst to join our team at Reed Technology. As a Service Desk Analyst, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients and ensuring that their IT needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support to clients via phone, email, and in-person.
- Log support tickets for all issues flagged, including daily checks.
- Manage incidents and requests, escalating to 3rd line support when necessary.
- Process requests, including new starters, leavers, and movers.
- Build laptops and smartphone handsets to team standards.
- Host inductions for new employees.
- Assist with employee moves, meeting room setups, and new office installations.
- Perform equipment fault finding, troubleshooting, testing, repair, or dispatch for repair.
- Maintain inventory records.
Requirements:
- Experience working within an IT Service Desk environment.
- Good knowledge of Windows 10 (configuration and support).
- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence in supporting and communicating at all levels of the business.
- Active Directory user management.
- Entra ID user management.
- General understanding of LAN, WAN, DHCP, DNS.
Working Environment:
This role will be working across our organization's three sites in the Cheltenham area.
Site-based Monday to Friday.
