Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Desk Analyst to join our team at Reed Technology. As a Service Desk Analyst, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients and ensuring that their IT needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support to clients via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Log support tickets for all issues flagged, including daily checks.
  • Manage incidents and requests, escalating to 3rd line support when necessary.
  • Process requests, including new starters, leavers, and movers.
  • Build laptops and smartphone handsets to team standards.
  • Host inductions for new employees.
  • Assist with employee moves, meeting room setups, and new office installations.
  • Perform equipment fault finding, troubleshooting, testing, repair, or dispatch for repair.
  • Maintain inventory records.

Requirements:

  • Experience working within an IT Service Desk environment.
  • Good knowledge of Windows 10 (configuration and support).
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft 365.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence in supporting and communicating at all levels of the business.
  • Active Directory user management.
  • Entra ID user management.
  • General understanding of LAN, WAN, DHCP, DNS.

Working Environment:

This role will be working across our organization's three sites in the Cheltenham area.

Site-based Monday to Friday.
