Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Service Desk Analyst to join our IT team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As the first point of contact for all IT-related issues, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line technical support to end-users via various communication channels.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  • Log and track all incidents and service requests in the ticketing system.
  • Evaluate and escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams as necessary.
  • Maintain and update documentation for IT processes and procedures.
  • Assist with the setup and configuration of new hardware and software.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure timely resolution of issues.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a service desk or technical support role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Familiarity with common software applications and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL) are a plus.
