About the Role

We are seeking an inspirational teacher to join our team and teach A Level Psychology at Suffolk One Sixth Form College. The ideal candidate will have a lively and stimulating approach to teaching and learning, the ability to teach to a high academic standard at Level 3, and a commitment to the learning and well-being of all young people.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with motivated students across a variety of academic and vocational courses in a dynamic and inclusive environment that prioritises both academic excellence and student well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach A Level Psychology to students aged 16-18
  • Develop and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to improve their understanding and performance
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Relevant subject expertise and experience of teaching A Level Psychology
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
