We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join our team at a highly regarded primary school in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. About the Role:

  • Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Contract
  • Start Date: January
  • Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for Year 5 students, catering to different learning styles.
  2. Assess students' progress and provide timely and constructive feedback, promoting academic growth and active participation.
  3. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe and motivated to learn.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies, ensuring a cohesive approach to education.
  5. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on students' progress, maintaining open lines of communication.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in a primary school, preferably with experience in Year 5.
  • A strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
