Supporting Young People in Education

We are seeking a skilled teaching assistant to join our team, working closely with senior education staff to deliver tailored learning and teaching.
The successful candidate will contribute to our education provision by communicating effectively with other team members and care staff about each pupil's progress and needs.
About the Role:- Delivering high-quality learning and teaching under the guidance of senior education staff.
- Contributing to the personalised nature of our education provision through regular communication with team members and care staff.
- Working across multiple sites and in the local community, as required.
- Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our children and young people at all times.
- A relevant teaching assistant qualification (Level 3 qualification and above) is essential.
- A specialism or experience in supporting the wider KS2 curriculum would be advantageous.
- Engaging reluctant learners and managing challenging behaviour are critical skills.
- An innate ability to relate to young people and understand their needs is vital.
- Knowledge of the national curriculum and other relevant learning programmes is necessary.
- Proven ability to build relationships with colleagues and external parties is essential.
- Ability to use various equipment, such as practical science kit and art materials.
- Eligibility to work in the UK and possession of a full, valid manual driving licence are required.
- A competitive salary package of around £28k-£30k per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience.
