We are seeking an experienced Senior Residential Manager to lead a solo placement children's home in Derby. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring the highest standards of care, safety, and compliance.

About the Role

As a Senior Residential Manager, you will be the heartbeat of the home, implementing personalised placement plans to support the emotional, behavioural, and educational growth of the young person. You will also be responsible for team leadership, building, mentoring, and inspiring a team of care staff who are committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care.

This is a highly rewarding role that empowers you to create meaningful, lasting change in the lives of young people. You will work closely with a Senior Management Team to promote positive outcomes and maintain a supportive, therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the Young Person: Implementing tailored care plans to promote their emotional, behavioural, and educational development.
  • Team Leadership: Developing and motivating a team of care staff to deliver exceptional care and support.
  • Safeguarding and Compliance: Ensuring the home is compliant with all relevant regulations and guidelines to provide a safe and secure environment.
  • Quality Standards: Setting and monitoring care standards to ensure the best possible support for the young person.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Experience: At least five years of residential experience within children's homes, including two years in a management role.
  • Skills and Attributes: Strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep commitment to children's welfare.
