Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager - Luxury Retail will play a key role in driving sales and delivering exceptional customer service in a high-end retail environment. As a second-in-command, you will be responsible for managing the store floor, leading a team of sales associates, and contributing to the overall success of the store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting and acknowledging each customer, fostering new relationships to drive sales and enhance brand loyalty.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Store Operations: Assist the Store Manager with managing the store schedule, timings, and absentee management.
  • Recruitment and Training: Hire high-calibre team members and provide training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Visual Merchandising: Assist with visual merchandising and store standards to maintain a high-quality shopping environment.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and assist the Store Manager with achieving sales targets and managing the store's financial performance.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Ideally 2 years' experience as an established Assistant, Deputy, Department, or Floor Manager from a customer-focused environment.
  • Skills: Exceptional customer service skills, experience of recruitment and training new staff members, and a passion for luxury retail.
  • Education: Relevant qualifications or experience in a related field.
