Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at the Ayrshire Independent Living Network. As a key member of our care team, you will provide personalized support to individuals in their own homes, promoting independence and enhancing their quality of life.

About the Role

This is a rewarding opportunity to work with people who require assistance with daily living tasks, social support, and community access. You will work closely with our clients to understand their unique needs and preferences, developing tailored support plans that prioritize their well-being and autonomy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal care tasks, including showering, continence care, dressing, and medication prompting.
  • Provide essential hygiene housework services, such as clearing dishes, laundry, bed making, and food preparation/batch cooking.
  • Offer social support, including assistance with shopping tasks, putting away grocery deliveries, attending appointments, and accessing the wider community.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection protocols when handling sensitive information.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and support.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of £22,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including:
