Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Bartender to join our team at The Standard London. As a key member of our bar team, you will be responsible for leading our exceptional bar team to provide an extensive drinks service across our ground floor bars, restaurants, and terraces.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Head Bartender or Senior Cocktail Bartender, with the ability to engage and connect with a wide range of guests from different backgrounds. You will be a confident mixologist with a proven knowledge of spirits, well-versed in both classic and contemporary cocktails, and have a strong understanding of the latest trends in the London bar scene.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the bar team to provide exceptional service and maintain high standards of quality and consistency
  • Develop and implement new cocktails and drinks menus to drive sales and increase customer satisfaction
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and optimize profitability
  • Train and develop junior staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service
  • Work closely with the restaurant team to ensure seamless service and maximize revenue
