Join our team as a Cardiology Team Lead Physiotherapist and take on a challenging role in delivering high-quality patient-centered services. We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to lead our team of therapists in the Cardiology Pathway at University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have significant experience working as part of a Physiotherapy team and multidisciplinary team at a senior level, with in-depth clinical knowledge in cardiology underpinned by theory and practical experience. They will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering the Physiotherapy service provided to patients across the Cardiology Pathway.

We are looking for someone with excellent organisational skills, ability to work unsupervised, plan, prioritise, and delegate tasks effectively. The ideal candidate will also possess Assessment, Analytical, and Reflective skills across a diverse patient group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Physiotherapy team in the Cardiology Pathway and provide highly specialist advice and training to Physiotherapists, students, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to clinical education of less experienced staff, students, or assistants and maintain records as an autonomous practitioner.
  • Work closely with the Cardiac pathway lead and Physiotherapy Clinical Specialist to evaluate patient services and assist in the development, planning, and progression of service provision.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy, be Health Professions Council registered, and have relevant cardiology experience. You must also have a credible and mature attitude, which is recognised and respected by other staff.
