Human Resources Consultant

Job Description
At Monahans, we are seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Advisor to join our team. As a trusted advisor, you will play a vital role in guiding managers through key employee relations activities, supporting the recruitment and onboarding of new hires, and building management capability through training and coaching practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Employee Relations: Provide comprehensive advice, guidance, and practical support to managers and employees regarding employee relations issues, including performance management, disciplinary and grievance matters, and absence management.
- Employee Engagement: Support the employee engagement plan and health and wellbeing focus days to increase employee engagement and address areas of concern.
- Recruitment Activities: Partner with the Talent Acquisition Manager to select candidates, manage agencies, and source top talent.
- Learning and Development: Assist and coach managers in the assessment, development, and performance management of employees to ensure objectives are set and performance appraisals are conducted.
- Reward: Oversee monthly payroll, ensure accurate calculations, and support the annual pay review process.
- HR Administration: Take ownership of HR administration processes, guiding the HR Administrator in delivering efficient and accurate HR activities.
- Organisational Change: Support the Head of HR during periods of rapid growth, manage TUPE processes, and ensure legislative compliance.
Requirements
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and advice to managers on people-related issues.
- Sector Knowledge: In-depth understanding of working in a professional services environment.
- Flexibility: Ability to prioritise tasks, work with multiple stakeholders, and provide an outstanding service.
- Adaptability: Comfortable with evolving responsibilities and handling diverse tasks.
- Emotional Intelligence: Demonstrate confidentiality and sensitivity when handling sensitive issues and information.
