About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Residential Support Worker to join our team at Clear Path Care Ltd. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our young residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring the needs of our young people are met.
  • Provide emotional and physical support to our residents, promoting their well-being and helping them to build resilience and skills for their future.
  • Form positive and effective relationships with our young people, their families, and external agencies, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure the home is maintained in a clean and tidy condition, adhering to our cleaning rota system and encouraging our young people to participate as appropriate.
  • Meet the emotional and physical needs of our residents, assisting in the implementation of individual educational programs and providing support to the House Manager as directed.
  • Attend and contribute to meetings, such as LAC reviews, EHCPs, and team meetings, ensuring our young people's needs are represented and addressed.
  • Take responsibility for the direct care of children living in the home, offering high levels of engagement and ambition in achieving positive outcomes for them.
Requirements
  • A desire to improve the lives and provide opportunities for our young people in care.
  • Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent).
  • Experience in children's residential care.
  • Full UK driving license.

Our home accommodates children between 9 and 17 years of age. Due to the nature of this post, the Department for Education National Minimum Standards require employees to be 4 years older than the oldest resident, so applicants must be 22 years of age or older.

We take seriously the responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of all our children and young people in care, ensuring continuous development and improvement of robust recruitment processes and procedures that promote a culture of safeguarding amongst our workforce.

Completion of an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check is a requirement for working with children and young people.
