Senior Leadership Tutor

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Leadership Tutor to join our team at the Global Development Institute. As a Senior Leadership Tutor, you will play a key role in contributing to the teaching and learning experience of our postgraduate students.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for delivering lectures and tutorials, as well as supervising master dissertations in postgraduate programmes within the Development Economics and Public Policy cluster. You will also contribute to the development of new courses and programmes, and participate in departmental and faculty-wide initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to postgraduate students
- Supervise master dissertations and provide guidance to students
- Contribute to the development of new courses and programmes
- Participate in departmental and faculty-wide initiatives
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a PhD and/or equivalent professional experience in a relevant cognate area. You will also need to have experience in teaching quantitative research methods for development economics and statistical software (Stata). Additionally, you will need to have demonstrable experience of teaching and assessment, preferably within a postgraduate context with a diverse student cohort.
