Senior Leadership Tutor

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Tutor to join our team at the Global Development Institute within the School of Environment, Education and Development at The University of Manchester.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our masters teaching programmes within the Development Economics and Public Policy (DEPP) teaching cluster. As a Senior Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering lectures and/or tutorials, Stata lab sessions, and supervising master dissertations in postgraduate programmes within the DEPP cluster.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality teaching in development economics, with a focus on quantitative methods and statistical software (Stata)
- Contribute to the development of new courses and programmes within the DEPP cluster
- Supervise master dissertations and provide guidance to students
- Participate in departmental and faculty-wide initiatives to promote excellence in teaching and research
- PhD in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience
- Experience in teaching and assessment, preferably in a postgraduate context
- Strong knowledge of quantitative research methods and statistical software (Stata)
