Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our Critical Care Division at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing clinical pharmacy services to our patients and supporting the development of our high-quality clinical pharmacy service.

Main Duties of the Job

You will work closely with our Lead Clinical Pharmacist for Critical Care to provide clinical pharmacy services to the Critical Care Division, including acting as an expert resource on the safe and effective use of medicines. As an independent prescriber, you will optimise medication regimens and apply your specialist pharmaceutical and therapeutic knowledge within the scope of your professional practice.

You will also support a range of medicines-related clinical governance functions for the Critical Care Division, including identifying and leading on quality improvement projects to enhance the safety, efficacy, and efficiency of critical care services. Additionally, you will lead on audit, service evaluations, and research projects, including the implementation and monitoring of relevant clinical trials.
