Career Opportunity in Critical Care

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Clinical Pharmacist to lead our Critical Care team and contribute to the delivery of our Pharmacy Vision. As a member of our dynamic and innovative team, you will play a key role in providing exceptional clinical services to patients and collaborating with healthcare professionals to achieve our goals.

The successful candidate will be a motivated and experienced Clinical Pharmacist with a strong track record in critical care, leadership, and education. They will have excellent interpersonal, leadership, and managerial skills, as well as the ability to innovate and implement change.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop the Critical Care pharmacy service, working closely with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Develop and maintain the hospital formulary, collaborating with the Lead Pharmacist for Medicines Information.
  • Provide training in critical care skills to clinical staff, ensuring they are equipped to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Act as a trainee pharmacist tutor/diploma mentor, supporting the development of junior pharmacists.
  • Contribute to writing and checking pharmacy information bulletins, promoting best practices and adherence to trust policies.
  • Lead and develop the clinical pharmacy service in critical care, ensuring high-quality drug use, effective risk management, and patient safety.
