Construction Project Overview

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead our construction project in Kidderminster, United Kingdom. The project involves overseeing the construction of a new building, which requires a strong background in construction management and a proven track record of experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure. They will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, overseeing subcontractors and site staff, liaising with project stakeholders, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations on-site.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently.
  • Oversee subcontractors and site staff to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers.
  • Monitor progress and provide regular updates to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site.
  • Handle any issues that arise on-site and implement solutions quickly.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure work quality and adherence to project specifications.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • Relevant qualifications in construction management or related fields.
  • CSCS card and SMSTS certificate are preferred.
