We are seeking a skilled Freight Forwarder to join our team at GT Export Consulting Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing international freight movements, both import and export, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage sea, air, and road freight bookings, processing with customers and suppliers.
  • Obtain and process pricing enquiries for all forms of transport.
  • Operate internal operations systems, online bookings, and sales platforms, as well as customs documentation.
  • Manage sales and cost reconciliation on a shipment-by-shipment basis.
  • Raise accurate operational documents, such as AWBs, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, and EUR1s, with great attention to detail.
Requirements
  • Sea and air operations experience an advantage.
  • Import or export experience.
  • Customs procedures, processing, and documentation.
  • Good telephone manner, team player, fast learner, and able to work in a small team.
  • The ability to prioritize, organize, and manage time efficiently is essential within a busy operations team.
  • Attention to detail is essential for the production of shipping documents.
  • Use of MultiFreight & MultiShed is desirable, but full training will be provided.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £29,000 plus, depending on experience, plus pension and holiday benefits.
