Job Title: Respiratory Physiotherapy Advanced Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Respiratory Physiotherapy Advanced Practitioner to join our team at the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise in respiratory physiotherapy, driving forward the transformation of current pathways, and holding a clinical caseload across inpatient services.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in respiratory physiotherapy, with a master's level specialist training and evidence of advanced practice skills. You will be able to demonstrate an extensive range of specialist knowledge, experience, and expertise in respiratory physiotherapy, including the ability to oversee the education and staff competency in respiratory physiotherapy, ensuring it meets high standards of clinical governance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in respiratory physiotherapy

  • Hold a clinical caseload across inpatient services
  • Oversee the education and staff competency in respiratory physiotherapy
  • Provide advanced physiotherapy advice to the team and other disciplines/agencies
