About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Pharmacist to join our Gastroenterology team at the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in providing expert pharmacy input to our Gastroenterology team, supporting the prescribing and monitoring of biologic medicines, and contributing to the development of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Specialist Pharmacy input to the Gastroenterology team, including support with prescribing and monitoring of biologic medicines.
  • Contribute to the development of our Gastroenterology services, including the design and implementation of new initiatives.
  • Work closely with our Gastroenterology team, including Consultants, ACP Pharmacists, and Specialist Nursing staff, to ensure seamless delivery of care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, guidelines, and best practices in Gastroenterology pharmacy, and apply this knowledge to improve our services.
