We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialist Pharmacist to join our team at Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Pharmacist, you will work closely with our Healthcare for Older People and Frailty Teams to provide specialist pharmacy input and support.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills and expertise in Frailty Services, with the potential to lead and shape the service as a Lead Pharmacist for Healthcare for Older People. You will work in a dynamic and supportive environment, with access to training and development opportunities, including leadership training and research projects.
Our pharmacy services are integrated, providing core services to a population of over 1 million across Devon. We are committed to developing services in Barnstaple and want to bring the very best Pharmacists to Devon. This is an exciting new role based within the Healthcare for Older people and different to a normal Pharmacy working routine.
You will be well supported and have the opportunity to develop specialist Frailty knowledge and training, as well as to influence the wider development of the service. Our Trust has an electronic patient record (EPIC), a multi-million-pound research facility, a significant development budget, and big plans for the future.
