About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Pharmacist to join our Gastroenterology team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in providing expert pharmacy input to our Gastroenterology team, supporting the prescribing and monitoring of biologic medicines.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy, with experience in Gastroenterology or a related field. You will be responsible for working closely with our Gastroenterology team, including Consultants, ACP Pharmacists, and Specialist Nursing staff, to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist pharmacy input to the Gastroenterology team

  • Develop and implement pharmacy services to improve patient outcomes

Requirements:

  • Strong background in pharmacy, with experience in Gastroenterology or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
