Senior Genomics Analyst

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Bioinformatics Analyst to join our team at the University of Cambridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing large-scale genomics datasets, including single-cell RNA-sequencing, single-nuclei RNA-sequencing, and bulk RNA-sequencing datasets.
Key Responsibilities
- Analysis of genomics data to support discovery and translational research
- Liaising with lab bioinformatician and bioinformatics core for data collection and initial pipeline processing
- Providing informatic support to researchers in the group
- Assisting in various aspects of data analysis and devising novel solutions to experimental and analytical problems
Requirements
- Masters in Bioinformatics or a relevant field
- Strong Bioinformatics skills, including experience in analyzing single-cell RNA-sequencing datasets
- Prior experience in an academic setting
- Highly collaborative, good communicator, creative thinker, and able to work effectively as part of a team
