Financial Services Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Services Manager to join our client, an expanding technology business in the Antrim area.
This is a full-time role for a 12-month fixed term contract with a competitive salary of £52,500. As the organisation continues to move through a significant period of change, this role will support building a shared service function across the business and require an individual who is a strong people manager, adept with reporting, change management and stakeholder engagement.
About the RoleKey areas of responsibility include:
- Finance Operations Management: Oversight of the day-to-day operations of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and customer financial queries by email and phone. Intervening when required to ensure a high-quality service to internal and external customers.
- Continuous Improvement: Work closely with the team managers to ensure the processes are working effectively and identify improvements.
- Reporting: Enhance the existing monthly reporting on the tasks of the team in a visual format that highlights the key risks that exist in finance operations and ensures visibility of these with senior managers.
- Team Management: Effectively manage the finance operations team through regular one to ones with your direct reports, effective delegation of tasks, proportionate checks on quality and productivity.
The ideal candidate will have a fully qualified accountant qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and at least three years' experience in finance operations, including two years' experience in a management/leadership role.
They will also have experience working with data from multiple sources to compile reporting alongside strong Excel knowledge, as well as experience of working with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
It would be desirable for the candidate to have experience in a similar role in a technology or software company and experience with SAP/SAGE accounting software.
