**Job Title:** Support Teacher for Children with SEN

Location: Euxton, Lancashire

Contract Type: Long-Term (July 2025) with scope for permanent employment

Estimated Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 per annum

As a Support Teacher for Children with SEN, you will work on a 1:1 basis with a child who is on the ASD spectrum. Your role will involve planning and creating a learning environment that is adapted to the child's needs and requirements.

You will work closely with the Head and Parents to monitor student progress both inside and outside of the classroom. Your responsibilities will include implementing and following individual education plans (IEPs), managing behaviour, and encouraging positive social and emotional development.

We are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant with previous experience in an SEN setting. You must have patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant qualification in supporting teaching and learning, strong communication skills, and a team-player attitude. An Enhanced DBS check is required.
