SEN Teaching Support

Teaching Personnel is recruiting a part-time SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a Primary School in Chorley. The successful candidate will support children with various needs, promoting their academic and social development.
Responsibilities:- Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and promote inclusion.
- Attend to pupils' personal needs, including social, health, and welfare matters.
- Prepare learning materials and resources.
- Encourage positive interactions between pupils and facilitate engagement in teacher-led activities.
- Provide feedback to pupils and their parents/carers.
- Complete administrative tasks as required.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with pupils, staff, and parents/carers. A commitment to ongoing professional development is also essential.
This is a term-time only position, working 30 hours per week. The estimated salary for this role is around £18,500-£23,500 per year.
