Service Care Solutions is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide high-quality support in an Euxton-based school.

About the Role:

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced individual to work on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will have previous experience as a L2/L3 Teaching Assistant within an SEN setting and be able to adapt to the needs of a child with special educational needs (SEN).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to a child with ASD spectrum needs.
  • Create a tailored learning environment that meets the child's requirements.
  • Work closely with the Head and Parents to monitor progress both in and outside the classroom.
  • Implement and follow individual education plans (IEPs) to track student progress.
  • Support behaviour management and encourage positive social and emotional development.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in an SEN setting.
  • Patient and empathetic approach with strong communication skills.
  • A relevant qualification in supporting teaching and learning.
  • Strong team-player attitude and ability to build positive relationships.
