ETF Sales Representative

First Trust Global Portfolios Limited is seeking a highly motivated and competitive individual to join its ETF sales team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for distributing ETFs to clients in the UK, Sweden, and Denmark.

The ideal candidate will have a basic knowledge of financial markets and be able to communicate complex ideas effectively. They will be responsible for identifying and contacting prospective clients, maintaining existing relationships, and managing the CRM system.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with external wholesalers to distribute ETFs to English-speaking clients
  • Maintaining existing client relationships and making follow-up calls
  • Managing the CRM system to track calls and meetings
  • Building trust with clients through ongoing communication and utilizing First Trust resources
  • Dealing with inbound client requests for information and portfolio analysis
  • Driving attendance to and attending events, lunches, and dinners
  • Developing market intelligence and staying up-to-date with market news and industry trends

Requirements include:

  • An undergraduate degree or highly relevant professional experience
  • Knowledge of financial markets
  • The desire to learn new concepts and deepen existing financial knowledge
  • Demonstrable experience of selling successfully
  • Experience in a competitive environment

  • Natural confidence and an articulate telephone manner
  • Resilience and competitiveness
  • Strong organizational skills and experience in lead generation
