Supporting Students with Special Educational Needs

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant. This role involves providing individualized support to students with special educational needs, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their learning goals.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements
  1. Assist the classroom teacher in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapting lesson materials to meet the needs of students.
  2. Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their learning goals.
  3. Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure that students receive the best possible support.
Benefits and Requirements
  • A competitive salary of £29,000 per annum.
  • Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Certificate, are preferred but not essential.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one) is required.
