About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Development Manager to join our team at Wesco. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development through strategic planning, market research, and relationship-building.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business strategies to identify and capitalize on new market opportunities.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute business plans.
  • Monitor and analyze business performance metrics to inform strategic decisions.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
  • Develop and manage budgets and financial plans to support business growth.
  • Provide thought leadership and expertise to drive business innovation and improvement.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and market analysis.
  • Strong business acumen and financial management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree in business or a related field.
  • Experience working in a similar industry or with similar products.
  • Knowledge of Wesco's existing business lines, strengths, and challenges.
