HVAC Sales Manager

About the Role
The role is part of Carrier's sales team and its main aim is to identify new business opportunities and grow sales in conjunction with our direct and distribution sales teams. Your responsibility will be to help us grow through:
- Quoting and selling Carrier's products, maximizing market share and increasing sales revenue and presence within the allocated sales region
- Effective management of nominated and geographical mechanical consultants
- Targeting and identifying new/potential customers, including mechanical and electrical contractors and consultants
- Promoting and offering product and project design support
- Achieving sales targets and developing new business
- Offering guidance and assistance on the correct use and application of our products
- Providing industry knowledge and guidance on legislation to ensure future protection
- Promoting all Carrier's unique selling points
- Preparing a weekly/monthly update report charting customer progress and highlighting new business to your line manager
- Ensuring regular customer contact
- Securing orders and developing enquiries
- Satisfying customer requirements
- Collecting and reporting industry knowledge and competitor analysis
What We Are Looking For
- Technical knowledge of VRF and split systems
- Strong sales background in HVAC, specifically VRF market, dealing with consultants, mechanical and electrical contractors, and air conditioning contractors
- Strong client relationships
- Competitor knowledge
- UK driving license
- IT literacy with MS Office skills
- Good communication and negotiating skills
- Time management and organizational skills
