Job Title: Ready-Mixed Concrete Business Manager

Breedon Group plc is a leading construction materials group in Great Britain and Ireland, committed to delivering excellence, innovation, and sustainability. We are seeking a highly skilled Ready-Mixed Concrete Business Manager to oversee our current portfolio of 17 ready-mixed concrete operations across a specific territory, generating £45m+ revenue.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct responsibility for a £45m+ revenue business, driving financial strategies that ensure profitability and sustainable growth.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to maximise efficiency and profitability across all sites.
  • Lead and mentor production and sales management teams, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Head the sales department, including external and internal sales staff, to achieve top-line growth targets.
  • Ensure that production processes across all 17 sites are optimised for maximum efficiency and quality.
  • Uphold the highest standards of product quality and compliance with industry regulations.
Requirements:
  • Experience in managing large P&Ls, preferably within the RMX industry or similar sectors.
  • Proven track record of financial management and business growth.
  • Higher education desirable, with a preference for civil engineering or a related field.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage senior-level direct reports across production and sales.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and profitability analysis.
