About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Integrity Specialist to join our team at Service Care Solutions. As a key member of our Building Control Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of building safety and compliance.

The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of building regulations and allied legislation, with a strong focus on enforcement and technical expertise. You will be responsible for managing development proposals through the Building Control process, from pre-application to completion, and providing technical guidance and decision-making support to colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a detailed understanding of building regulations, structural engineering, and other relevant specialisms to ensure accurate interpretation and application.
  • Provide expert advice and support on Building Control matters, including preparing and presenting cases to justify decisions.
  • Ensure maximum revenue generation through efficient invoicing and timely determination of applications.
  • Contribute to the development of service planning initiatives for the Building Control Team, exploring opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide training and oversight, promoting professional excellence and best practices.

Salary: £48,710 per annum + car allowance.
