We have exciting permanent opportunities for motivated and suitably qualified Structural Engineers to join our Technical Communities based in the South West of England.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out structural and steelwork engineering support for energy projects from conception to completion.

This role involves different phases of the project: from basic design to site design modification.

  • Managing or participating in the design of steelwork structures ensuring compliance with Civil and Mechanical Nuclear Standards
  • Working with CAD designers in the preparation of the design drawings and models
  • Controlling the calculation notes, analytical models, and design drawings

Salary is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

The ideal candidate should have a Master's degree in Civil, Structural or Mechanical engineering, or equivalent qualifications and experience.

Chartership status or actively undergoing the process of attaining Chartership through a recognised international body will be highly considered when assessing candidates.

Familiarity with Robot / Rstab / STAAD Pro (or similar software) is essential.
