About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Claims Advisor to join our Life Insurance Claims team in Hove. As a Claims Advisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive a sensitive and efficient claims experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Taking inbound calls and responding to emails from customers seeking updates on their life insurance claims
  • Making a positive impact on our customers, particularly those holding protection policies with us, by ensuring their claims are handled with care and efficiency
  • Completing and managing claim tasks in accordance with best practice guidelines, accurately and in a timely manner
  • Ensuring all customer communication is handled professionally and that customers are kept informed
  • Identifying and resolving customer complaints in a timely and effective manner
  • Liaising with third-party providers, such as reinsurers and medical professionals, in a friendly and efficient manner
  • Utilizing the most suitable communication method to meet customer expectations and ensure a high level of service
  • Contributing to claims projects and other team or department initiatives
Requirements
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for supporting customers, regardless of their personal circumstances
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to offer support and feedback to colleagues, contributing to a collaborative and motivated team culture
  • Confidence in using desktop or laptop technology and experience with MS Office
  • Ability to anticipate and resolve problems effectively
  • Ability to manage time productively and prioritize workload efficiently
