Your Role

As Managing Director, Head of EMEA, you will be responsible for driving the growth and success of our broker-dealer business across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. You will lead a high-performing team of sales professionals, cultivate strong relationships with institutional clients, and develop and execute strategic initiatives to expand our market share.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development & Strategy: Establish and manage the broker-dealer business, ensuring flawless execution of all operational initiatives. Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, driving revenue growth across the EMEA region. Develop and execute robust business strategies to capitalize on market trends and client needs.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, understanding their unique requirements and ensuring our solutions meet and exceed their expectations. Act as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, train, and lead a high-caliber sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and high performance. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, empowering them to achieve their full potential.
  • Market Intelligence & Regulatory Compliance: Stay ahead of industry and market structure trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes. Ensure all business activities adhere to FCA regulations by implementing robust governance frameworks and staying updated on regulatory developments.
  • Thought Leadership & Representation: Represent BestEx Research at industry events and in the media, showcasing our thought leadership in the space. Contribute to industry publications and participate in relevant forums to enhance our brand visibility and reputation.
Qualifications

We are seeking a highly accomplished and results-oriented individual with a proven track record of success in institutional equities sales and business development within the electronic trading or algorithmic trading space.

  • 15+ years of experience with a demonstrated history of driving revenue growth and exceeding targets.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop meaningful relationships with clients and team members.
  • Deep understanding of market structure, competitive landscape, industry trends, and regulatory environment in the EMEA region.
