We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our Residential team at Aspris. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality childcare practice and support to our young people, promoting their welfare and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Safeguard and promote the welfare of our children and young people.
- Support across two homes, working with the Registered Manager to provide the best possible care.
- Provide high-quality childcare practice, underpinned by a Person-Centred Values therapeutic approach.
- Minimum 18 months experience working in a residential setting.
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
- Ability to interact with a range of people and young people.
- Confidence and ability to lead a team of Support Workers.
- Experience working with children who may display challenging behaviour.
- Shift work, including weekends, evenings, and sleep-in duties.
- Full driving licence.
- 25 days holiday plus 8 days bank holiday.
- Full induction program, specialist training, and accredited qualifications.
