About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical and Mechanical Technician to join our team at Thames Water. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a range of assigned front-line maintenance and operational activities on our sewage pumping stations in Camberley, Surrey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform planned and preventative maintenance of sewage pumping stations to support the operation of our assets.
  • Respond to emergency alarms and perform repairs as necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the smooth operation of our pumping stations.
  • Participate in a 1 week in every 6 weeks out of hours emergency standby rota.
Requirements
  • ONC/HNC in engineering, NVQ, or C&G level 3 in Electrical engineering.
  • A valid driving license is essential.
  • Previous experience in an electrical apprenticeship, with an 18th Edition qualification beneficial.
  • Knowledge and awareness of health and safety issues are crucial.
  • Be a time-served apprentice with significant experience in electrical systems ideally working in a true multi-skilled capacity.
  • Be a self-motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Competitive salary up to £39,000 per annum depending on your level of experience.
