Electrical and Mechanical Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical and Mechanical Technician to join our team at Thames Water. As a key member of our maintenance and operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our sewage pumping stations in Camberley, Surrey.
Key Responsibilities- Perform planned and preventative maintenance on sewage pumping stations to support the operation of our assets.
- Respond to emergency alarms and perform repairs as necessary.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve our goals and objectives.
- Participate in a 1 week in every 6 weeks out of hours emergency standby rota.
- ONC/HNC in engineering, NVQ, or C&G level 3 in Electrical engineering.
- A valid driving license is essential.
- Previous experience in an electrical apprenticeship, with an 18th Edition qualification beneficial.
- Knowledge and awareness of health and safety issues are crucial.
- Be a self-motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Competitive salary up to £39,000 per annum depending on your level of experience.
- 24 days holiday per year increasing to 28 with the length of service.
- Contributory pension – Defined Contribution - Maximum of 12% -2x employee contribution.
- Personal Medical Assessments – Open to all once a year.
