We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Technician to join our team at Thames Water. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment at our waste pumping stations.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out scheduled, planned, and reactive maintenance work on electrical systems and equipment.
- Investigate and diagnose complex faults and carry out repairs as quickly and efficiently as possible.
- Provide technical advice and support to colleagues and customers.
- Work in a team environment to ensure the smooth operation of our waste pumping stations.
- Participate in a standby rota and be available to work overtime as required.
- 18th Edition electrical City and Guilds certification.
- Experience in electrical systems maintenance and repair, preferably in a similar industry.
- Knowledge of health and safety issues relevant to the industry.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and willingness to complete appropriate training.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Competitive salary up to £35,000 per annum.
- Standby rota payments and overtime opportunities.
- 24 days holiday per year, increasing to 28 days with length of service.
