Creative Support is a dynamic and growing not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing exceptional support to individuals with diverse care needs. We are currently seeking a Relief Support Worker to join our passionate and committed team in Barnet, North London.

Our Barnet service offers support to individuals with learning disabilities, and the ideal candidate will be respectful and able to provide outstanding support that may include administering medication and assisting with domestic tasks such as cooking and cleaning. You will also be passionate about empowering and encouraging our service users to lead fulfilling and valued lives, and to develop their abilities to the fullest.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with daily living duties such as budgeting, shopping, and supporting with medication and any care that may be required
  • Collaborating with service users, families, carers, and involved professionals to provide a coordinated and consistent service that maximises outcomes for service users
  • Responding to the needs of service users in line with Person Centred Plans and responding flexibly to changing needs
  • Encouraging and supporting service users in expressing needs, views, and concerns, enabling them to make their own choices and decisions

Previous care experience is essential for Relief Support Worker positions, and successful candidates must attend mandatory induction training courses before beginning in the role. Car drivers are preferred, though not an essential requirement, to support with client engagement with the Barnet community.

As a Creative Support Bank Staff member, you will have access to our free app, which allows you to pick up shifts in any area of the country and provides information on the service, including directions. You will be paid on a weekly basis.
